How to get to the M&S Bank Arena

Wide, waterfront boulevards and pedestrian plazas make walking or cycling to the M&S Bank Arena pleasant and safe.
A number of cycle routes enable cyclists to easily get around Liverpool and visit the M&S Bank Arena by bicycle. You can find out more about the routes available from Liverpool City Council’s website. You can take your bike for free on ferries and trains in Merseyside, though remember it's busy in peak hours. Most stations have free, secure cycle storage too. The M&S Bank Arena has its own secure cycle parking.400 e-scooters are available to hire in the city centre and surrounding areas including Toxteth, Dingle and Kensington, as well as key transport hubs and hospitals.

Walking in Liverpool city centre is an enjoyable experience, not least because it’s the best way to experience the life, architecture and friendly nature of its people. Pedestrianised areas around Liverpool ONE link to the wide Waterfront boulevard, the docks and the M&S Bank Arena.

The M&S Bank Arena is a short taxi or bus ride away from Liverpool Lime Street rail station and its long distance rail services, including hourly, direct services to London (taking a little over two hours). Destinations in Merseyside, Lancashire, Cheshire, North Wales and Cumbria are even closer.
Avanti West Coast operates hourly, direct services from London Euston to Liverpool Lime Street, taking just over two hours. Other national, regional and local rail services also operate into Liverpool Lime Street station. You can plan your journey with Trainline.

Long-distance and local bus services operate into the bus station at the Liverpool ONE retail development, five minutes’ walk from the M&S Bank Arena, as well as Queen Square bus station. We even offer coach drop-off areas adjacent to the King’s Dock site.

Liverpool John Lennon Airport is only 20 minutes down the road, whilst Manchester’s international airport is also just 45 minutes away. What are you waiting for?
Liverpool John Lennon Airport (JLA) is one of the UK’s top 10 busiest airports. It features flights to approximately 75 destinations in the UK and across Europe.
Airlines at JLA include two of Europe’s largest low cost airlines, easyJet and Ryanair, both of whom have large bases at JLA. A taxi from the airport to the city centre will take approximately 20 minutes or the express bus service Route 500 will take approximately 25 minutes, dropping you off within a five minute walk of the M&S Bank Arena.
Just 45 minutes’ away via the motorway network, Manchester Airport has an even more extensive network of flights, with long haul destinations including America and the Far East served with direct flights.
